The ArOmis nebulizing diffuser is water free, atomizing only the essential oils and citrus oils, creating a stronger, purer, aromatic and therapeutic effect.

Water units are mostly humidifiers that produce water vapor and are not very good at creating essential oil vapor.  Water units are made of plastic while the ArOmis unit is made of real wood and glass.  Plastics cause a real concern because essential oils and plastics tend to react with one and other.  The oils stick to and corrode plastics and plastics tend to “change” the chemical nature of the essential oil.  The ability to control the output intensity is nearly impossible with a water unit.  The LED lights in water units emit uvB light which negatively impacts essential oils.

The ArOmis diffuser offers much more detailed control.  Most serious users of essential oils focus on the therapeutic effect of the oils and the ArOmis diffuser is vastly superior in this way.  The ArOmis nebulizers are much more elegant and can be displayed like a piece of art.

There are certain essential oils that should not be used in a nebulizing diffuser as they are too thick and will cause a clogging effect on the device.  Some examples are Benzoin, Jasmine (absolute), Myrrh, Patchouli, Thyme ct thuyanol and Vetiver.
