About Our Aromatherapy Products

Over the years, Lavanda® has built a reputation for quality by supplying aromatherapy body and skin care products of the highest therapeutic grade to our clients and the general public. We offer a large selection of ready to use aromatherapy formulas, and versatile synergies based on clinical aromatherapy. The word "synergy" means working together in harmony, one component enhancing the other. We carefully select and combine essential oils of botanical medicinal grade with unrefined, cold pressed oils and other botanical carriers creating an assortment of aromatherapy remedies that contain the power of nature.

Our selection of natural remedies address the most common ailments of the skin and body, including for babies or children, and pregnant women and for after delivery. Our aromatherapy products are for external application, using touch and smell as pathways of penetration. The light smell and consistency make our apothecary products suitable to the most sensitive nose or skin.

Lavanda also offers to practitioners, a large selection of undiluted, unrectified, true essential oils of botanical medicinal grade, sourced from countries all over the world, and whenever possible from organically grown plants in the traditional manner on licensed land without the use of artificial fertilizers or sprays. To insure their quality and to quantify chemical constituents, they are independently analyzed at their place of origin by the Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry (GC, MS) methods. Information on their botanical name indicating genus, species, and chemo types when available, as well as country of origin is always listed.

Other complementary products are also offered to practitioners to create their own aromatherapy formulations.

Lavanda Aromatherapy was founded and developed in 1991 by Maria-Dolores Trujillo, a Board Certified Naturopath, Clinical Aromatherapist, researcher and educator.

Maria introduced Clinical Aromatherapy in the Dallas area after returning from England. The line was born from custom made apothecary formulas, which she created for her clients specific needs after consultation, helping hundreds of her cases with the most varied conditions ranging from auto-immune problems, skin trauma post-surgical, premature aging, acne, eczema, rosacea, female reproductive ailments, infertility, digestive, and others.

Maria-Dolores is also the founder of the Aromatherapy Institute and WholeBody Health Clinic in Dallas, TX. The Institute is a school dedicated to training and education on Clinical Aromatherapy for health care practitioners and skin care professionals who want to incorporate this therapy into their practice. She has developed all the course work, books and material for the Institute, gaining national recognition as a leading educator in her field. She is licensed by the TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH as a continuing educator.

Maria has been featured in Dallas Woman's magazine as an entrepreneur in her field and as an honor Professional on the National Directory of WHO'S WHO in executives and professionals.

Maria-Dolores continues her work and research through her successful apothecary practice, as well as teaching clinical aromatherapy to other professionals throughout the country.
